How long does botox® last?
The effects from Botox® will last anywhere from four to six months, depending on the individual.  With increased treatments of botox®, muscles are being trained to relax, therefore, lines and wrinkles appear less severe with time.

Who is not a good candidate for botox?
Pregnant patients or patients that have a neurological disease should not receive botox treatments.  However, a consultation is always recommended and usually complimentary.

Will insurance cover the cost of botox?
Not in most cases.    If botox were to be used medically, it would be a possibility.

Is botox only injected into the face for wrinkle purposes?
No.  In some cases, botox is used for arthritis sufferers by reducing the release of certain proteins from nerves in the joint. Also, botox can be used for hyperhydrosis or excessive sweating.  Botox injections have been known to disable the sweat gland, therefore, reduces the level of wetness.

What are the long-term effects?
Long term effects of botox are unknown at this point.

Will I still be able to make facial expressions?
Yes.  Botox injections will not drastically change your face; however, when making facial expressions such as frowning, fine lines and wrinkles will be less evident. 

Is it affordable?
Botox is affordable considering other facial improvement procedures such as professional teeth-whitening treatments and hair styling/color maintenance.
